New Form of Self-Promotion and Recognition

Since the development of MySpace and after the popularity of it spread; many artists have used MySpace as a platform to share and sell there music. This site was built as a social network. Underground artists use this site to network with record executives, record companies, and/or other established artists (0r bands).

Some artists have found fame through MySpace such as:

    Well I know you’re a guy, but I think it’s also really important to add that Taylor Swift got her start on MySpace. Now she is a huge, platinum album selling artist. I really like that you included links to these artists too, it’s important for their stuff to be heard.
